We were looking to buy into a community north of St. George and one of the friendly residents there suggested we call his realtor, Scott Dutton. We did so, along with some of the other realtors who had for sale signs in the community. Of those we contacted, Scott was the most helpful, respectful, and responsive so when none of the properties we were immediately interested in panned out, we hired Scott to represent us as buyers. Although this was never going to be a big-dollar transaction, Scott treated it as if it was. He gave us a link to his website, where he constantly posted properties we might be interested in. We explored several with him by email and phone (this was to be a snow-bird retreat for us and we live 300 miles away), and he was helpful in visiting the properties, taking photos and lot line measurements (in the middle of a freak snowstorm no less) and eventually we were able to secure a desirable lot at a fair price. We have been involved in many real estate transactions over the years and dealt with many realtors. This was potentially the most difficult one because of the remoteness of the site, but with Scott's help it went very smoothly and we are extremely satisfied with the outcome.
